What Is Adoption Choices Of Texas?
Adoption Choices of Texas is a fully operational private adoption agency that has been providing adoption services to birth parents since 2012. We are here to help guide you and support you on your adoption journey. When you work with us, you know that you are in control of your adoption plan. We do not make any decisions on your adoption plan for you. You get to create your plan how you see fit. When you work with us, you will be assigned an adoption caseworker at our first meeting. Now, your caseworker is there to just simply provide you with the information you need throughout the adoption process and answer any questions you may have along the way. You will get to decide on what type of adoption plan you want to have from a closed adoption, semi-open adoption, or open adoption plan. Now just because you pick one of these options does not mean you can change it later down the road.
If you start out with a closed adoption plan but want to change it to a semi-open adoption plan, you can! You will also get to choose which adoptive family you want your baby or child to go to. During this stage of the adoption process, your adoption caseworker will provide you with information and profiles on adoptive families we have on our waiting list. This is so you can decide on which adoptive family you think is best for your baby or child. You will also be able to decide what type of communication you want to have with the family and the baby or child after placement takes place. You can set up communication where you talk with the family frequently, and when the child is of age, you can communicate with them as well. You could also set up communication where you and the family communicate over email once a month or so just to see how things are going. This is your adoption plan, and we want you to create your vision.
What Services Are Provide When Working With Adoption Choices Of Texas?
While we help you and guide you while you are creating your adoption plan, we also do our best to support you here at Adoption Choices of Texas. There are multiple ways we can help and support you. For instance, we can help you with your grocery needs, find an affordable and caring doctor that fits your budget, and we can help you find a more suitable and affordable living space if your current living situation is not good for you. We mean by not good for you that if you are pregnant while going through the adoption process and your current living situation is not a place where you can have time to relax and destress your mind, we can help. Not only can we help you with these things, on top of that, we also do our best to support you on your adoption journey.
We provide a free counseling service where you can go and speak your mind and get any questions you may have answered. These sessions are to help you relax and destress your mind while you are going through the adoption process. Your mental health and overall health are very important to us, and we want to do what we can to help you, especially if you are having a hard time coming to terms with your decision on adoption. It is not uncommon for birth mothers to second guess themselves during adoption. Sometimes talking about what is on your mind can help, which is why we provide these free counseling sessions to you.
