Why Should I Go with Adoption in Texas in This Situation?

Now, if you are in a situation where the Department of Child Safety or state is involved in your life unnecessarily, you could be thinking, why is adoption in Texas an option for you. If you decide to go with adoption in Texas and work with us here at Adoption Choices of Texas, you will be able to keep custody of your child while you create your adoption plan, and the state or Department of Child Services will not be able to take your child and place them into foster care by law.

Another reason why birth mothers in this situation might choose adoption is that they get to decide on the adoptive family, and you will be able to do the same. At Adoption Choices of Texas, you are the one in control of your adoption plan. You will be able to create your adoption plan and decide what is best for both you and your child. You will be able to choose what type of adoption you want from closed, semi-open, or open adoption. You will be able to choose the adoptive family, and you will be able to choose what type of communication you have with the adoptive family and the child.

Choosing the adoptive family is one of the main reasons why birth mothers in a similar situation choose adoption for their baby. By choosing the adoptive family, you will get to find a good fit for your child, along with a safe and loving environment where they can flourish. We know you want what is best for your child, and going with adoption in Texas allows you to do what is best for them if you think adoption is the right move for you.

What is Choosing the Adoptive Family Like?

If you work with us here at Adoption Choices of Texas, your caseworker will provide you with information and profiles on adoptive families who we have on our waiting list. You will be able to look through these profiles and their information to determine what adoptive family you think is right for your child. Now, there is no need to rush this part of the process. We want you to be thorough and make sure you find the right family for your child. As mentioned before, this is your adoption plan, so we will not pick the adoptive family for you; the choice is completely in your hands, and you have the final decision. Again, this step allows you to find a situation for your child where they will receive the love and attention they need, and it will keep them out of the foster system.
